Accreditation
Canyon School for the Arts exceeds the State of Utah’s requirements for school days (190 versus 180) and meets or exceeds in the instructional minutes of core subjects (especially in math and science). The curriculum is aligned with the core standards and learning outcomes issued Nationally and by the Utah State Office of Education for each grade level.
However, being mindful of our Nation's increasingly important position globally, CSFTA has chosen to move toward International Baccalaureate World School accreditation. This type of accreditation provides our students uniquely rich academic and professional opportunities throughout the world. Our Board of Directors oversees this process of IBO accreditation which began in 2007. . Templeman is a Marketing Specialist at Phytoceutical Research, a mom of three small children with one on the way, and Education Director for her church Stake. She is a valuable resource and CSFTA liasion for parents, businesses and the community at large.
