Summer is the time to have fun AND to keep those basic skills intact. We offer programs to meet these needs of
students ages 6-14.
Basic Skills

Kids can lose up to 1/3 of their learning during the summer months. Don't waste an opportunity to keep your kids
at grade level or to even give them a head start in the fall. Join the basic skills program keeping math, reading and writing skills in check.
Kids enjoy fun activities that apply these basic skills. Meets M-Th mornings (10-12 noon) throughout the month of July.
Creative Productive Thinking Club

Each week a new science and math project is created (to be decided by students each week). Students learn how to
research, design, budget, and plan as they tackle a new project from beginning to end each week. Great application of math and science
basic skills. Projects in the past have included hover crafts, LED cubes, woodworking, and more. Meets M-Th afternoons from 1:00 - 3:00
pm throughout the month of July.
Just the Classics

Kids study classical music, art, literature and dance and produce weekly projects that include story books, paintings,
sculptures and more. Great application of reading, writing, and art skills. Meets M-Th afternoons from 1:00 - 3:00 pm throughout the month
of July.
All About Your Brain

Kids love to learn about themselves. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about their brain, how
their individual brain learns, and the best strategies to maximize their potential in the coming school year. Includes pre and post
assessments. Meets during the first week in August; M-F 10:00 - 12:30 pm.
